I am sending our thanks by email – see attached evidence that the girls had a lovely time.

Claire saved photos of the boat and taken from the boat when not “flying”. The weather made the outing so much better than it might have been on so many days this year but I think the girls would have enjoyed themselves anyway.

I have passed information of the experience on to others including our driver and the company I booked through. Some of my colleagues may not be as brave as me but might give it a try anyway and Claire’s friends may repeat the experience with family.

Thanks again for an enjoyable trip

Best wishes

Dear Flying Fish Tours,

Thank you for an excellent trip to the Thames Barrier 24th March. Despite it being utterly freezing the snow stopped just in time for our trip and with the extra coats and trousers you handed out my friends and I all really enjoyed it. It was great fun and I have recommended you to friends, (although not in sub zero temperatures)

Please find below an extract from Wikipedia, just for your info, although you probably already know this and just want to see how many people believe you! :-
“The word comes from the Old English hwearf, meaning “bank” or “shore”, and its plural is either wharfs, or, especially in American English, wharves; collectively a group of these is referred to as a wharfing or wharfage.

Some say that “wharf” stands for WareHouse At RiverFront. Of course, this is not true, but entertaining nontheless. It is probably a myth purported by arguably over-creative riverboat tour guides, especially those on the Thames.”

Thanks again!

Caroline

Dear Chris,

I just wanted to say thank you very much for the trip yesterday. We all had a great time and will definitely be recommending the trip to all our friends. The jet boat lived up to all our expectations and the choppy conditions were a bonus in our opinion! Great fun.

Thanks again,
Nigel

Chris

We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the boat yesterday; it provided the perfect start for my stag do and much to talk about.

All in all a really good experience and one we will all be recommending to others on days out. Thanks for your help in the arrangements.
Cheers
Julian

Hi Chris

Just to quickly say how much we enjoyed our trip on the Flying Marling - it was fantastic, certainly blew our hangovers away. (We were on a hen weekend, and had had a rather heavy night!) It was so much more that we expected, I just felt I had to write and say thank you. The boys were loads of fun too, o thank you to them too. We just had such a laugh, and such a thrill.

What great fun, brilliant way to see London from the River, so much more interesting that the slow old things that potter about on the river all day.

We all said that we won’t hesitate to recommend you to everyone we know who is visiting London, and will certainly be seeing you again next year,

thanks again,

Carol Button

Chris,

Can you please pass on my thanks to the crew on Thursday.

Everyone really enjoyed the trip and the crew ensured that we got the most out of our FLYING FISH experience! They were polite, professional and most importantly ensured that everyone was comfortable with them so that they could have as much FUN as possible.

An excellent experience that I know they will all recommend to others.

Thanks again.

Thanks to all the staff who enabled my disabled son to join a family group on the rib. They were so helpful and supportive. His comment on leaving was that was incredible! The rest of the group agreed.(Saturday 11th April 2008)

There’s a new reason for getting out of bed early on a Saturday morning. Take a trip from Blackfriars pier through scenic London to Westminster, under the bridges to Tower Bridge, and then on to Greenwich Maritime Museum, with great views of the O2 Arena.
The trip starts at 10.30am, so you need to get there for about 10.15. It only costs £22, so it’s a lot cheaper than the competition, and priced to encourage you to get going nice and early. We set sail at 10.30 sharp, so we can get back for the next trip.
This takes in a different part of London to our usual Thames Barrier trip, so you can incorporate scenic London and a guide with a speedboat ride in the open waters beyond Tower Bridge to Greenwich. A great value trip to start your day off and clear the cobwebs.
