The Tour

Jet Boat experience

This is a circular trip completed in about 75 minutes, a special offer for the price of our normal trip to the O2 Arena. Leaving from Blackfriars Pier in the heart of London, the downstream location moves us away from the speed restrictions introduced from Westminster to Tower Bridge and allow us plenty of time and space for jet boat fun. Blackfriars is easily accessible by public transport and is away from the crowds found at major tourist attractions. We leave Blackfriars going under the Millenium 'Blade of Light' footbridge and by Tate Modern, the Globe theatre, HMS Belfast, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. We then speed on past Maritime Greenwich, O2 Arena and on to the amazing Thames Barrier. In the unlikely event, we reserve the right to interchange the Jet Boat and RIB for operational reasons.

The RIBs have proven to be a popular choice for parties wanting a bespoke trip from a wide variety of piers in London from Putney to the O2 Arena. You get closer to the sights and the turns allow you to get so close to the water that you can put your hand in. Flying Fish Tours Speedboat Experience

By leaving from Blackfriars Pier, we avoid the speed restrictions between the bridges from Westminster and the London Eye to Tower Bridge, giving you a real speedboat ride all the way to the Barrier.

This is the most interesting way to travel through London with the most exciting fleet of boats on the river. With so few passengers per trip, there is great personal service and you get really close to the sites.

Our twin engine petrol outboard Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) carry up to 12 passengers in comfort. These vessels are custom built and have been in service throughout the world for many years. They have proven themselves to be ideally suited to operating on the River Thames. Charter available throughout the week.

The 20 seat twin inboard diesel Rolls Royce jet powered aluminium offshore craft is a revelation. The vessel is based on the Royal Marines Offshore Raiding Craft, currently in operation all around the world. This boat brings a whole new experience to the river and must be on your list of things to do in London. To let you experience the jet boat thrills without interruption, we from Blackfriars pier, further downstream to get us away from the speed restrictions between the bridges from Westminster to Tower Bridge quickly. A fantastic and unique experience.

The exclusive location provides a great start for jet boat fun followed by a trip through scenic London from Blackfriars to the Thames Barrier, and the circular trips last about 75 minutes. Our skippers have been specially trained to operate this craft so you can experience the unique attributes of jet power.

Both vessels have great performance and acceleration, allowing you to see more of the Thames during your trip than conventional tours, all at great prices.

The RIB leaves from a wide variety of piers covering all the major sites on the river. Our trips last for under one hour.

Our Early Bird trip on Saturday mornings starts at Blackfriars pier and goes to the Thames Barrier via the Greenwich Maritime Museum and the O2 Arena taking under one and a half hours. Available Saturday mornings. A great early morning special offer, all the way to the Thames Barrier with great views of the O2 Arena. This is a scenic trip through the heart of London under the bridges. You leave from Blackfriars pier and take in all the sights to Westminster, and then past Tower Bridge on the way to the Thames Barrier past Greenwich via Canary Wharf. You get a great view of the O2 Arena and then back to Blackfriars, all under one and a half hours. Fantastic value and offers more than any other speedboat trip on the river.

With our variety of tours, there is something for everyone and offer very good value. You will see more of the Thames than conventional trips but please note that progress depends on conditions, tide, wash, safety issues and traffic. All our skippers are commercially qualified with years of experience and overseen by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, to provide you with a safe and entertaining trip. Minimum numbers per trip apply.

The trips are open to everyone of all ages and physical capabilities. The berthing arrangements facilitate access by the vast majority of persons and the vessels have been subject to an assessment by SCOPE. The vessels have modifications for those with lateral stability problems and there is easy movement around the vessels with storage space for bags.
